Trade & Purchase FAQs
What type of prints do you offer?
We offer a curated selection of prints from our Slim Aarons, Hulton Archive and Contemporary Collections.
Slim Aarons estate-stamped limited editions are produced as C-type prints for colour images and digital fibre prints for black and whiteโhonouring traditional darkroom techniques. These are offered in an edition of 150 prints per image.
All other open edition prints are offered as photographic pigment prints, produced to museum-quality standards using archival materials for lasting clarity and depth.
Whatโs available to ship in my region?

These are all produced locally within each region to reduce shipping times and environmental impact.

We ship via trusted, trackable carriers, taking every care to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.
Are the prints authenticated?
Yes. All prints are emboss stamped and come with a certificate of authenticity issued by Getty Images Gallery.
Slim Aarons limited editions are stamped with his estate signature and hand-numbered in ink, marking each piece as part of a certified edition.
All open edition prints feature the Getty Images Archive emboss stamp, verifying their provenance and quality.
What sizes are available?
Each print is available in a range of standard and large-format paper sizes, based on traditional photographic paper dimensions used throughout the 20th century. These sizes reflect the heritage of photographic printing and ensure consistency across our collection.
The largest size listed for each image is the recommended maximum to preserve image integrity and print quality.
Are the listed sizes the image or paper size?
The sizes shown refer to the paper size, which includes a handling border around the printed image. This border ensures safe handling and accommodates our official emboss stamp for authentication.
Due to the archival nature of the imagery and the breadth of our catalogue, the exact printed image size may vary from piece to piece. This variation respects the original proportions and integrity of each photograph.
If you require precise image dimensions for framing or display, please feel free to contact us.
Do you offer custom sizes?
We offer a curated range of standard sizes that are designed to work across our print and framing options. Custom sizes may be considered for high-volume trade orders but are not available for one-off purchases. Please speak to your account manager if you'd like to explore options for a bulk order.
Do you offer framing?
Yes. We offer a range of high-quality framing options to suit both classic and contemporary interiors.
Our traditional wooden frames are handcrafted to fit each individual print, using sustainably sourced ash wood in a selection of finishes. Each frame includes a conservation-grade window mount and archival materials to protect and preserve the artwork. Frames come ready to hang, complete with fixings.
Frames are listed by the paper size they are designed to fit - simply select the frame option with the same dimensions as your print.
For a more modern look, we offer frameless acrylic facemounting. This sleek, high-gloss technique presents the print between a sheet of clear Perspex and an aluminium backing, creating a vibrant, โfloating on the wallโ effect. Each piece includes a discreet sub-frame for easy hanging.
How long will my order take to arrive?

Our catalog is extensive, so not all images are featured on the website. Please get in touch with us to discuss your specific image needs, and weโll be happy to curate a personalized selection just for you.
Can I return or exchange a print?
Due to the made-to-order nature of our prints, we generally do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.
How should I care for my print?
We recommend keeping prints out of direct sunlight and handling them minimally to preserve their quality. Framed works should be gently dusted with a soft cloth.
Please be aware that some of our products may have sharp edges or angles. For your safety, we advise professional installation using appropriate hanging materials. Avoid placing artwork above valuable items or within easy reach of children and pets.
Please note that the supplier cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury resulting from failure to follow these guidelines.
Do I need to buy a licence for the images?
When you purchase a physical print from Getty Images Gallery, no additional image licence is required. Unlike digital licences that expire after a set period, owning a physical print means you hold the artwork indefinitely and outright.
