Since 2017, the Getty Images Gallery has been committed to offering previously unseen works from the Slim Aarons Archive as fine art print editions. The 2019 selection presents fifteen never-before-seen works that represent Slim’s trademark sensibility with a modern twist. Ranging from the immediate post-war period to the late 1960s, the photographs were shot in typical Slim locations such as Bermuda and Gstaad, but also feature a striking pair of images from a casual Central Park walkabout in 1947. As usual, all prints are available in a range of sizes and substrates.
