About Us

We are passionate about prints. Getty Images Gallery was founded in 1998. We are the only gallery with complete access to the Getty Images Archive, which at 80 million photographs and growing, is the world’s largest commercial collection. Our relationships with Getty Images photojournalists and creative contributors means we can deliver impactful contemporary works alongside vintage classics. Browse our curated sets, or take advantage of our consultation service to find new and unique images. Our dedicated international team combines custom curation, responsive sales, an in-house darkroom and bespoke production services in a distinct package.

Unrivaled Content

Archive

The Getty Images Archive is without equal. Built on the foundation of the legendary Hulton Archive, the range of subjects found within the Archive’s 4,000 collections parallel the broader human experience.

The Gallery features works from midcentury journalistic powerhouses such as Evening Standard and Picture Post, Slim Aarons’ iconic lifestyle photography, Christopher Simon Skyes’ raw tour documentary, rare 19th  century Indian landscapes, and Herbert Ponting’s breathtaking views from the South Pole, just to name a few.

Contemporary

As Getty Images’ namesake gallery, we offer a selection of contemporary prints from the agency’s award-winning photojournalists and leading creative photographers. From potent documentary reportage to conceptual images of modern womanhood to dynamic sports imagery, the Gallery offers a broad selection of specially selected works across many genres in modern styles.
